چکیده
fe]lows. 1) By roentgenographie examination, the bone graft density was increasecl quickly in order of deproteinized, frezen, boiled, and fresh graft. 2) By gro$s appearance, the ossal fusion between the graft and the recipient was completed in all deproteinized and frozen grafts and in a few boiled and fresh graft. 3) The bone replacement in graft was not found up to 16 weeks after implantation in all the processed and fresh grafts. 4} The maior bone mineral contents at the end of 16 weeks after implantation were nenrly in agreement with the absorption rate {n each graft. 5) There were no changes on blood cells and serurn electrophoretic fractions of reeipients implanted with non-processed fresh graft.

O-1: Effects of Recipient Mouse Strain, Sex and Gonadal Status on the Outcome of TestisTissue Xenografting
Background: The aim of the present study was to examine factors that may affect the outcome of testis tissue xenografting. Recipient factors were examined by grafting small fragments of testis tissue from newborn piglets under the back skin of immunodeficient mice of different strains [severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) vs. nude), sex (male vs. female) and gonadal status (intact vs. gonade...

متن کاملCLINICAL EVALUATION OF BONE CEMENT AND AUTOGENOUS BONE GRAFT IN DOGS
Various biological bone g rafts have been used for osteogenes i s , osteoconduction and even osteoinduction, but due to systemic influences and local factors, the outcome of successful incorporation of a bone graft has not been satisfactory. This study was therefore conducted on 15 clinically healthy adult dogs between 1 to 3 years of age weighing 20 to 30 kg to evaluate the effect of bo...
متن کاملIn Cadaver kidney Recipients, Autologous Bone Marrow Stem Cell Transplantation Significantly Improve Graft Function, Short-term Outcome
Background: Renal transplantation is the best choose in the end stage renal disease (ESRD), and acute rejection and graft dysfunction remain major challenges in the worldwide, even with the advent of new immunosuppressive drugs. The novel cell-based anti-rejection treatments have been studied by using different stem cell sources. In this study, transplantation of autologous-bone-marrow-derive...
متن کاملRegulatory and Effector Helper T-Cell Profile after Nerve Xenografting in the Toll-Like Receptor-Deficient Mice
INTRODUCTION The balance between regulatory T cells (Tregs) and effector T help cells (Th cells) is critical for the control of adaptive immune response during nerve transplantation. However, whether the homeostasis of immune regulation between Tregs and Th cells requires toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling is unclear. The aim of this study is to profile the distribution of spleen Tregs and Th c...
